The J. F. Hurley Family YMCA before and after school program is a state licensed program that provides a safe & supportive environment with realistic and appropriate expectations. Our focus is to develop the whole child through the YMCA traditional curriculum: the Spirit-Mind-Body Triangle. The YMCA will provide positive interaction and exciting theme based activities that will help build strong values, enhance education, improve academic performance and promote a healthy lifestyle.

School Locations:

Before school offered at ALL Salisbury elementary schools and is held at the Salisbury YMCA.

After school programs are held at the following schools:
• Hanford-Dole Elementary • Isenburg Elementary
• North Rowan Elementary • Overton Elementary
• Koontz Elementary

MISSION STATEMENT

To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

•Note: The Schools with a • are licensed through North Carolina. DSS childcare vouchers are accepted. Participants must have all paperwork completed and processed before child is allowed to start.

Rates: 2010-2011 school year

Registration Fee:
$25 first child. Additional children $15 per child (non- refundable)

Registration fee must be paid at time of registration.

Before School Care Only:

* YMCA Member-$85/ monthly
* Potential Member-$110/ monthly

After School Care Only:

* YMCA Member-$125/ monthly
* Potential Member-$180/ monthly

Before & After School Care:

* YMCA Member-$160/ monthly
* Potential Member-$215/ monthly

All fees are due by the 5th of the month. Student to counselor ratio is 15 to 1.

JOIN THE YMCA AT REGISTRATION AND WE WILL WAIVE THE $25 JOINER'S FEE

Part-time Before School Care Only: (child attends 10 days or less)

* YMCA Member-$58/ monthly
* Potential Member-$77/ monthly

Part-time After School Care Only: (child attends 10 days or less)

* YMCA Member-$85/ monthly
* Potential Member-$105/ monthly

Part-time Before & After School Care:
(child attends 10 days or less)

* YMCA Member-$110/ monthly
* Potential Member-$142/ monthly

There is a $5 discount for additional children in the Before School Program.

There is a $10 discount for additional children in the After School Program.

If your child is enrolled in the before and/or after school program, Fun Camp days are included in your monthly fee. Fun Camps are days when the children are out of school for teacher workdays, holidays or inclement weather. See Fun Camp Section for more details.
