The YMCA After-school Child Care Program is designed to provide quality care with Christian values in a safe, nurturing and fun environment. The YMCA builds character, including honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. Trained, qualified and knowledgeable counselors provide leadership to the after-school program. The ratio of 1 to 15 gives each participant an opportunity to participate in age appropriate activities. These activities encourage children to grow in Spirit, Mind and Body.

School Locations:
The YMCA offers three off-site programs located at Knollwood Elementary, Millbridge Elementary and Landis Elementary as well as care at the South Rowan YMCA for children attending Enochville Elementary, China Grove Elementary, China Grove Middle and Corriher-Lipe Middle School. The Y will provide transportation from their school to the YMCA facility.
Rates: 2010-2011 school year
Registration Fee:
$25 first child. Additional children $15 per child. (non- refundable)
Registration fee must be paid at time of registration. |
Before School Care Only:

After School Care Only:

All fees are due by the 5th of the month. Student to counselor ratio is 15 to 1.

If your child is enrolled in the before and/or after school program, Fun Camp days are included in your monthly fee. Fun Camps are days when the children are out of school for teacher workdays, holidays or inclement weather. See Fun Camp Section for more details.
